Behold the kleptopus! This little octopus was seen stealing some giant shells and hiding between them.
This a Amphioctopus marginales, commonly called a coconut octopus. It is one of the two species known for bipedal locomotion behavior: with the mantle inside a shell or coconut, it uses its legs to “run” on the sea floor. It seems to also be able to use its gatherings as tools. So clever and unique!
